What Premium Cover means for you

For an incident covered by active Premium Cover, your excess is zero. PEMA covers the cost of repairing or replacing the destroyed or stolen machine. We arrange the necessary diagnostics and collection; a replacement machine is offered subject to availability.

The service covers agreed accidental damage, theft, fire, other agreed natural hazards and vandalism. It applies only within the scope and conditions of the contract. Incorrect operation and neglected maintenance are not covered, even if unintentional.

No excess. A clearly agreed scope.

For a covered incident, you pay neither an excess nor a separate incident-handling fee. This does not protect against every type of damage. Incidents outside the agreed scope remain subject to your liability under the contract.

Premium Cover is agreed separately for each machine. The selected service and its price for the agreed period appear in a separate section for that machine in the contract.

Requirements and exclusions

Theft cover requires compliance with the specific security requirements in the contract and any security sheet, which you will receive before agreeing to the service. Both Premium services are active only if you have no overdue monetary debts to PEMA, including debts under other contracts; invoices not yet due do not prevent cover.

Protection excludes, in particular, intentional acts, gross negligence, unexplained loss, damage to third parties and downtime. Transport by the customer requires a separate agreement. Exclusions, age limits for machinery damage and other conditions are set out in the contract.

If an incident occurs

Notify PEMA immediately, document the incident and safely prevent further damage. Report theft and vandalism to the police and fire to the fire service. Keep damaged parts and locks; arrange repairs with PEMA.
